The second annual Greenville Craft Beer Week running from April 19-25 will again spotlight the beer and businesses that help make the Upstate city’s craft beer community what it is. And to help kick things off, three new collaborations from the city’s three breweries will be tapped at a special event this Sunday.
As a treat for year two, the city’s three production breweries – Thomas Creek, Brewery 85 and Quest – all teamed up during the past few months to brew a different collaboration beer at each other’s respective locations. Representatives from each brewery got together to lend a hand in producing three unique collaborations. Those are:
– Chokeberry Honey Saison, brewed at Quest using Riverbend Malt.
– Smoked Apple Belgian Wit, brewed at Thomas Creek and fermented with SouthYeast Labs yeast.
– Session IPA, brewed at Brewery 85 also using Riverbend Malt.
All three beers will be on tap during a special event at Barley’s from 4-6 PM on Sunday. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 the day of with only 50 spots available. All three brewmasters will be on hand as well to talk about the beers and the collaboration process.
You can reserve a spot by visiting Barley’s or calling (864) 232-3706.
