The third release in Quest’s barrel-aged series of bottled beers will go on sale at the brewery Halloween Eve.
Dubbed Maman Brigitte, the beer is a 9% stout brewed with local chocolate scotch bonnett peppers and cacao nibs and aged in rum barrels. According to the brewery, the beer’s namesake is a symbol of death, according to Haitian Vodou, and was believed to favor pepper-infused rum.
As with most events at Quest, music and food will be on site. The Marcus King Band will host their album release party during the event and food trucks will be setting up as well. A costume contest will also be held with the winners snagging swag from Quest and other retailers.
Bottles will go on sale beginning at 5 PM. More details on the release here.
