The next release in Thomas Creek’s barrel-aged series – a BA coffee oatmeal stout – will be released Wednesday, July 8, at the Greenville brewery.
Burbonius Dolium Robustus is an 8% stout aged in bourbon barrels and brewed with oatmeal and local Due South coffee roasted specially for the beer, which will be available in 22 oz. bombers limited to one per person. Samples will be available while they last.
The release follows April’s unveiling of Lorem Dekkera, an 8% Belgian-style strong golden ale aged for eight months in bourbon barrels and fermented with Brettanomyces bruxellensis, Lactobacillus brevis and SouthYeast Labs-cultivated apple cider hefeweizen yeast.
Bottles will go on sale beginning at 5:30 PM. More details about the release here.
