Quest has hit the ground running in 2015. Having recently expanded distribution into North Carolina’s Triad region, the Greenville brewery is gearing up for its second barrel-aged bottle release this coming Saturday, Jan. 10.

Rum BA Imperial Smoking Mirror Porter will be the next corked-and-caged 750 ml release from Quest. The beer is a 9.6% version of their year-round Smoking Mirror Smoked Porter (normally 5.5%) aged in Cruzan Rum barrels for eight months. No word on bottle count of price just yet, but sales will begin at noon and be limited to four bottles per person.

This will be the first bottle release since March 2014, when Quest released a bourbon barrel-aged version of their Kaldi Imperial Coffee Stout.
