Sierra Nevada is about to set out on the inaugural Beer Camp Across America festival, an ambitious traveling beer extravaganza that invites every craft brewery in the country to participate. The festival will eventually make its way to Sierra Nevada’s new facility in Mills River, NC, and nine South Carolina breweries will be making an appearance at that stop.

In celebration of its upcoming Beer Camp Across America box – a 12-beer sampler pack including 12 different collaborations between the California brewery and others – Sierra Nevada is making a seven-stop tour from coast to coast, beginning in Chico, CA, on Saturday, July 19. The tour eventually ends in Mills River on Sunday, August 3, with a blowout at the brewery’s East Coast facility.

As a way of showcasing the wealth of craft beer in a region, Sierra Nevada invited every craft brewer in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Florida, Louisiana, Arkansas and Tennessee to pour at the festival’s South East stop along with the 12 guest brewers featured in the Beer Camp box (including Three Floyds, Russian River and New Glarus).

Representing the Palmetto State at the festival are: PalmettoConquest, Hunter-Gatherer, River Rat, Blue Ridge, Quest, Thomas Creek, New South and RJ Rockers. Each brewery will be pouring two beers from their selection, although there’s no beer list just yet.
