We’re a little more than two weeks out from the grand opening of Brewery 85, and in the run-up to its public opening, Greenville’s soon-to-be newest brewery will be making a few appearances around the city this week to give drinkers a literal taste of what’s to come.
On Thursday, January 16, The Community Tap will host a retail launch for Brewery 85. Will and Meredith McCameron and Jeremy Caldwell will be on hand to talk about the brewery and hand out tastes of some of their brews. The free tasting runs from 5:30 to 7:30 PM.
Then, on Sunday, January 19, Brewery 85 will be setting up at Barley’s Biggest Little Beer Fest, joining a bevy of South Carolina’s finest breweries. Two of their flagship beers will be available: Southern Style, a 5.5% American pale ale, and Quittin’ Time, a 7.5% Helles bock.
Brewery 85 will open to the public on February 1.
