Revelry Brewing recently announced an expansion of their Charleston brewery in the form of a rooftop tasting area, which officially opens to the public yesterday.
Brewery co-owner Sean Fleming recently told the Charleston City Paper that their tasting room has run out of space, so the brewery decided for a vertical expansion. The outdoor area includes a 15-seat bar, a covered deck and bathrooms. The space will be for public use but can also be rented for private events.
The opening of the expansion coincided with Where the Wild Things (R), an event showcasing rare wild and sour ales from Revelry and other breweries as part of the fourth-annual Charleston Beer Week.
Revelry celebrates its second anniversary next month.
