This weekend will be full of beer-related events in the Charleston area as drinkers descend on the city for the annual Brewvival beer festival. The day after the festival, award-winning Revelry Brewing Co. will host its first-ever bottle release event, at which they’ll be dropping three four releases.
While Revelry’s been making an impact around the Charleston area for a while, Sunday will be the first time the brewery has offered any packaged product. And not content with one release, four bottle releases are on deck:
- Stupid Sexy, a barrel-aged blend of Flanders and dark farmhouse ales that scored a gold medal Oregon’s Best of Craft Beer Awards.
- Chateau Revelry, an 11% barrel-aged American barleywine aged in fresh bourbon barrels.
- Flaming Mallow, a barrel-aged imperial stout that evokes the taste of a smore.
- Oh, My Darlyn, a barrel-aged scotch ale that landed a gold medal at the 2015 U.S. Open Beer Championship.
Details on pricing and availability haven’t been announced yet, but bottles will be limited and go on sale beginning at noon Sunday.
