Last week saw the launch of Holy City’s limited barrel-aged beer series, a new endeavor in which the brewery will release a different and limited barrel-aged beer every week.
Every Friday, Holy City will unveil a new release on draft and in bottles, both of which will be available until they sell out. Beers, barrels and availability will vary from week to week, and when it’s gone, it’s gone.
The first release on Oct. 23 was a new version of their Big Boss collaboration Ville Moyenne, a black saison brewed with dark cherries which was partially aged in Woodford Reserve bourbon barrels with smoked cherries added. About 450 bottles were available for the inaugural release.
