A few weeks ago in a brewery not that far away, Columbia’s River Rat and Charleston’s Holy City got together to celebrate the annual Star Wars Day by collaborating on a new beer scheduled for release next Friday, June 5.

Back on May 4 – as in “May the 4th be with you” – Holy City’s Chris Brown visited River Rat to help brew a dry-hopped American IPA with wheat, a beer that came to be known as Beep Bop Beep Beep Boop. It’ll be released at River Rat next week. More details about the release here.

Beep Bop Beep Beep Boop is the latest in a slew of new and seasonal beers from River Rat in recent weeks, including their seasonal Twisted Lemon Wheat and two new releases: A Kristallweissbier and an 11% Belgian-style Quad.
