The brands represented by Charleston’s RAFA Distributing continue to grow with the “just good shit” specialists recently adding two new breweries to their lineup: Colorado’s Crooked Stave and Oklahoma’s Prairie Artisan Ales.
Crooked Stave, which specializes in sour and funky beers, was rumored to begin popping up in the Palmetto State soon after beginning distribution to North Carolina in recent weeks. That news was confirmed Wednesday. Surette and Vielle will be part of the launch lineup, as well as the seasonal St. Bretta release. No word on an exact launch date, but they should be “landing any day now,” according to RAFA.
Prairie will also be arriving in the near future, although in more limited quantities both on draft and in bottles. Cherry Funk and Prairie Hop are reportedly on the launch lineup for the Oklahoma-based brewery. The brewery was recently rumored to be launching in Georgia soon, but that news turned out to be untrue. No word on a launch window for SC.

Looks like Crooked stave has landed in SC. Good stuff!
