Florence’s Seminar Brewing has signed a distribution deal with Rock Hill-based Comer Distributing, Inc., which will expand the brewery’s availability into the Columbia area in the near future

During the weekend, Comer – which also represents South Carolina’s Holy City, Thomas Creek and RJ Rockers breweries through much of the state – announced it had inked a deal with the Florence brewery. While there’s no official launch date, Seminar’s Shawn Steadman said the brewery will launch in Columbia first. They plan on announcing release events and parties within the next few weeks, which will feature Seminar’s slate of core beers as well as a special one-off release just for the Columbia market.
