Total Wine & More is celebrating 10 years of service in the Charleston area this week, and for the occasion, one of the city’s most collaboration-friendly breweries teamed up with the store for a special imperial IPA being released this week.
Recently, representatives from TW visited Holy City Brewing to brew an imperial IPA with pale, wheat, honey and biscuit malts; Warrior, Centennial, Mosaic and Cascade hops; and 180 lbs. of wildflower honey from the Savannah Bee Company. The result is the 9% Honeycomb Over DIPA, which will be released this Friday on draft and in cans at the brewery and at the Charleston Total Wine, where HCB reps will be from noon to 3 PM to talk about the collaboration.
Following the Friday launch, Honeycomb Over will be available at the Total Wine stores in Columbia and Greenville in cans and for growler fills.
