Swamp Cabbage is officially Columbia’s third and South Carolina’s 19th brewery this week after receiving all of its necessary licenses.

The brewery announced Wednesday it had undergone and passed its final inspection and received its county business license. By Thursday, they had their state license in hand as well and announced they would begin brewing soon.

No word on an official opening day for the new brewery, which will be located in the same area as both Conquest and River Rat, but that news should be coming soon.
