As part of its ongoing expansion efforts, Thomas Creek planned to finally construct a proper taproom where visitors can enjoy the brewery’s offerings. The facility would be separate from the brewery itself, where most tastings were being held. And with SC breweries now being able to serve pints, it’s was a commonsense move to allow more people a chance to enjoy more of TC’s brews.
While an official grand opening will be held as part of the upcoming Greenville Craft Beer Week, as of last weekend, the taproom is officially open. The taproom features 11 taps and offers flights, pints and growler fills. There are two TVs where visitors can enjoy shows or sporting events, and the brewery will team up with nearby eateries to offer food delivery. Details are still being hashed out on a tour schedule.
Thomas Creek has already installed much of the new equipment included with its expansion, and the next item on the to-do list is finish the brewery’s new outdoor patio, which they hope to have ready by April 1, the day of the taproom’s grand opening event.
