This September, River Rat will host 60 breweries from across the state and country at its first ColaTown Oktoberfest, featuring more than 100 beers including a new release from the Columbia brewery.
The pre-fall beer festival will be spread out across River Rat’s facility on Shop Road in Columbia. A list of participating breweries and beers being poured hasn’t been announced yet, save for one new release from River Rat: Sour Cherry Sucker Punch, a 10.5% ale brewed with blackstrap molasses and Turkish dark cherry pits, then aged on 40 pounds of cranberries and 100 pounds of tart cherries. The beer will have a limited release of 750s available at the festival.
General admission and VIP tickets – which grant attendees access to special tappings and food – as well as DD tickets are currently on sale for the festival. You can find more information about the event here.
