Columbia’s River Rat Brewery has been a growing presence in the Capital City’s beer scene since opening in 2014, earning best-of honors from Columbia drinkers and expanding distribution statewide in less than 12 months. On Saturday, March 7, they’ll be toasting to one year as the city’s second production brewery.
Starting at 2 PM Saturday, River Rat will host a day of food, music and beer releases both old and new. The brewery recently installed a new 17-tap system in their taproom and will be re-releasing some old favorites, including their BA Vanilla Porter, Badunka Dunkle, La Rata Negra Black IPA and more. More recent releases – My Morning Stout, Kerry’s Peanut Butter Porter, BA Oatmeal Stout and others – will also be on tap.
There’s no cover for the event, which will also feature local musical acts and food vendors throughout the day. More details and a full tap list can be found here.
