Hot on the heels of their second anniversary party and the release of The Finisher, Conquest is readying yet another special one-off bottle release for one of their most popular beers.
Last week, Conquest announced they would be releasing a Vanilla Knob Creek barrel-aged version of Harlequin, their 9% fall seasonal imperial stout brewed with cocoa, vanilla, nutmeg, clove, cinnamon and ginger. The beer rested in a Knob Creek bourbon barrel for about five months, with a treatment of vanilla beans soaked in Knob Creek bourbon added to the brite tank after the barrel was emptied.
The bottle release will be held Saturday, Feb. 14 – Valentine’s Day – and limited to 100 bottles, with a per-person limit of two. Bottles will retail for $15 and go on sale when the taproom opens at 11 AM. Tickets will be handed out Saturday morning prior to the release.
Conquest’s three previous bottle release events – both Finisher releases and the one for their Four Roses BA Ophel’s Lowly Barleywine – have all been sellouts the day of.
