Back in June, Quest Brewing Co. teased a possible future expansion into the state of North Carolina following visits to the state. Last week, they announced a deal had been finalized and that the Greenville brewery would begin distribution northward by year’s end.

The expansion will begin later this fall starting in the Charlotte and Asheville markets, with the Triangle (the Durham/Chapel Hill/Raleigh region) seeing Quest early next year. The expansion will include packaged products, including cans of the brewery’s Golden Fleece BPA and Smoking Mirrors Smoked Porter.

Quest has experienced rapid growth in its first year and a half in business, including a canning line, burgeoning barrel-aging program and statewide distribution.
