The winner of the 2014 Iron Brew homebrewing competition will be crowned this Saturday at Holy City following an afternoon-long showcase of the participating homebrewers.

The annual competition, now in its third year, brings together homebrewers from across the state for the chance to have their work brewed on Holy City’s production system and tapped at a local Mellow Mushroom pizzeria. All entries had to use a secret ingredient (this year’s was chocolate).

Entrants will have the chance to showcase their stuff from 2-6 PM at the brewery. A people’s choice award will also be handed out in addition to the judges’ prize. Mellow Mushroom will be providing food and Big John Belly will be performing.
