River Rat, Columbia’s second brewery will be expanding to its third major market with a series of launch events this Thursday.

After recently expanding into the Greenville market, River Rat is planning its launch in the Lowcountry later this week. On Thursday, both the Charleston Beer Exchange and Closed for Business will host launch events for the brewery. CBX will be sampling River Rat’s four year-round beers from 4:30-6:30 PM and giving away glasses with growler fills. Over at CFB, kegs of the four beers will be tapped at 6 PM for pints.
