Pluff Mud Porter isn’t the only beer Holy City will be expanding into a new format in 2014. Beginning next year, the Charleston brewery will begin canning three of its beers at different times throughout the year.
In its last newsletter of the year, HCB outlined it planned expansion for next year. On the equipment front, the brewery will be adding a new 15 BBL brew kettle, a 60 BBL brite tank and a few 60 BBL fermenters, largely expanding their brewing capacity.
And with more brewing output comes more ways to enjoy it. In addition to six packs of Pluff Mud, HCB will can Washout Wheat and Bowen’s Island Oyster Stout as seasonal releases. Chucktown Follicle Brown will become a year-round release as well. The can artwork is still being sketched out.
