Earlier this week, I stopped by Conquest to see how things were going and had the chance to try their latest creation. For the past few weeks, they’ve teased a “monster” beer coming in at a higher ABV than anything they’ve produced yet. Other than that, details – as usual – were kept under wraps.
But last night, they let the name of the beer slip: Sacred Heartier. And from there it’s not too hard to surmise that the brewery is finally putting out a much-demanded double IPA.
The beer is exactly what its name entails: a bigger, bolder version of Sacred Heart. It is indeed a monster beer, but dangerously drinkable, and you’ll be pleased if you’re a fan of Sacred Heart. It’ll end up clocking in somewhere north of 10% ABV.
Look for this one to hit in limited quantities sometime within the next week or so.
