Asheville’s hugely popular Burial Beer Co. had announced a move into the South Carolina marketplace as part of their Southeast expansion.
In a press release Tuesday, the brewery announced its signing with Advintage Distributing with distribution expected to begin this November once their new 20-barrel brewhouse is online.
Brands expected to hit the state (in cans and on draft, both in limited quantities) include Surf Wax IPA, Gang of Blades Double IPA, Skillet Donut Stout, The Keeper’s Veil Honey Saison, Shadowclock Pilsner, Bolo Coconut Brown, Scythe Rye IPA and Ceremonial Session IPA
Regarding their move into the state, Burial co-owner Jessica Reiser said, “The way that we have approached distribution and the future of Burial has been choosing places we personally connect with. We want to have an understanding of the culture and community and feel a connection to each place we send our beer. We’ve spent a lot of time in South Carolina and appreciate what the state and what its incredible people have to offer.”
