Always the adventurous bunch – as their name would lead you to believe – Quest is hosting an event this Thursday, February 27, that should please (or possibly punish) fans of peppers, barrel aging and Quest’s own Kaldi Imperial Coffee Stout alike.
Thursday is the Señor Kaldi Challenge at Quest. Four variants of Kaldi – all barrel-aged, all with different peppers added – will be tapped for the brave to try. Here’s the breakdown:
- Mild – Kaldi infused with Poblano peppers in Dark Corner Distillery barrels
- Medium – Kaldi infused with Habanero peppers in Buffalo Trace barrels
- Hot – Kaldi infused with Aji Dulce peppers in Dark Corner Distillery barrels
- Kaldi Cask Conditioned with Chipotle Peppers
Those who sample all four varieties will be entered for a chance to win some Quest goodies. Quest’s Nitro Milk Stout will also be on tap. Thoroughfare Food Truck will be serving food and the Craig Sorrells Project will be performing.
