A guide to SC beer at Brewvival

brewvival2014The time is nigh. This Saturday, Brewvival – considered by many to be one of if not the the best beer festivals in the Southeast – returns for a fifth year, once again bringing together a congregation of beer geeks to the (hopefully dry) field across from COAST.

The beer list, as in previous years, is a stellar representation of local, regional and national breweries. And as usual, the majority of attendees are bringing out their big guns, tapping kegs and casks of rare, one-off and limited beers for all to try.

While there’s quite the list of brews to sample this year, South Carolina beer will be well-represented at the annual festival. SC stalwarts and newcomers alike will be showcasing their goods at the festival, which runs from noon to 5 PM. In total, 54 beers from South Carolina are on the list, with 26 of those from the Charleston area alone.

You can find the full list of beers here, but here’s a rundown of what SC beer you’ll be able to enjoy this weekend.
