Boy King climbs BeerAdvocate charts

coast-logo-pdfsmMany people (yours truly included) consider COAST‘s Boy King imperial IPA as one of the best in its style on the East Coast, if not the country. And now the users of BeerAdvocate seem to agree, having ranked the occasionally released DIPA in the top 50 on the site.

During the weekend, Boy King reached No. 40 on BA’s list of Most Popular American Double/Imperial IPAs, with an average score of 96 (“world-class”) according to BA users. The ranking puts Boy King ahead of such beers as Wicked Weed’s Freak of Nature and New England Brewing Co.’s Ghandi-Bot, and just a step below Firestone Walker’s Double Jack.

Boy King is the only South Carolina beer to crack the top 50
