Most “anonymous” meetings are a time for people with serious problems to gather, commiserate and work toward getting back on the right path.
Hop addiction may not be as serious as … well, real addictions, but if you’re fiending for that sticky green, Greenville’s Barley’s is here to help.
On October 30, the Upstate bar is hosting another session of its Hopoholics Anonymous, an annual event dedicated to the all things hoppy. This year, 33 of the bar’s taps will be pouring the bittering suds to help you get your fix.
The event features both national and in-state breweries. On the SC beer side, COAST‘s Boy King and Westbrook‘s Citrus Ninja Exchange will be representing the Lowcountry, while Greenville’s own Quest will be brining a cask of their wet-hopped Golden Fleece and a keg of their Ellida IPA aged in Dark Corner Lewis Redmond whiskey barrels. RJ Rockers out of Spartanburg will have their NoDa collaboration PIPA Long Hoppings around, too.
Other notable brews on tap include Foothills Jade IPA, Sierra Nevada Blood Shot Imperial Red Ale, a cask of Bell’s Two Hearted, Stone’s latest batch of Enjoy By IPA (11.12.13) and plenty more. There will also be a few surprises in store. You can find the full tap list here.
Feed the need beginning at 7 PM that night.
